24 heures (literally "24 Hours") is a Swiss regional Swiss-French-language daily newspaper, published by Edipresse in Lausanne, Vaud.
Foundation and operations
Founded in 1762 as Feuille d'avis de Lausanne,[1][clarification needed] the newspaper has a circulation of 86,153[when?] and a readership of 245,000.[when?].
Since 25 February 2005, the newspaper has had four local editions, with sections for the specific area of the canton:
- Riviera/Chablais[clarification needed]
- Jura-Nord vaudois District and Broye[clarification needed]
- La Côte
- Lausanne
The first two local editions replaced the newspapers La Presse Riviera-Chablais and La Presse Nord Vaudois.
The newspaper shares some of its content with Tribune de Genève, Edipresse's local newspaper for the Canton of Geneva.
