36 Engineer Regiment is a Royal Engineers regiment in the British Army that was formed in 1949.

Structure

The regiment consists of four squadrons:[1]

  • 50 Headquarters & Support Squadron.
  • 20 Field Squadron.
  • 69 Gurkha Field Squadron.
  • 70 Gurkha Field Support Squadron

History

The regiment was re-roled to a search regiment during 2008/09.[2]
