4090 Říšehvězd is a main-belt asteroid with an orbital period of 1321.9792938 days (3.62 years).[1] It is the asteroid with the most diacritics in its name.

The asteroid was discovered on September 2, 1986 by Antonín Mrkos at Kleť Observatory. The asteroid was named after the Czech popular astronomy journal Říše hvězd (“the realm of stars”).[1]
