The Harrogate Bus Company 59 is a bus route operated by Harrogate Bus Company, which runs between Harrogate and Skipton in North Yorkshire, England.

History

[edit]

Prior to the introduction of the 59, the X59 operated between Harrogate and Skipton.

In 2011, the frequency of the service was reduced from five buses per day to two buses per day.[1] It was withdrawn completely in 2013.[2][3][4]

The 59 route was introduced on 22 May 2021, with the route operating on Saturday only.[5][6]

In April 2022, the stop at Millstones, near Kettlesing, was removed.[7]

Route

[edit]

The route runs from Skipton bus station to Harrogate bus station and follows the A59 road. Four journeys run in each direction on Saturdays only.[5][8]
