Criticism
Upon the release of the first trailer, the film was met with widespread criticism, with people describing it as "awful", "manipulative" and "beyond offensive". Actor and comedian Pete Davidson, who lost his father in the 9/11 attacks, condemned the film in a since-deleted Instagram post. Many were also offended by casting Charlie Sheen, a 9/11 Truther, in a film about the attacks.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
