Andrew Day (born 15 May 1981)[citation needed] is an English[1] actor and television presenter best known for his work on the BBC's CBeebies channel. He is also a patron of the Anti-Bullying Alliance.[2]

CBeebies

Day is the longest-serving CBeebies presenter[3][4] having presented programmes and links since July 2007. He particularly specialises in shows about animals and nature, including:

  • Andy's Wild Adventures
  • Andy's Dinosaur Adventures[5]
  • Andy's Secret Hideout[6]
  • Andy's Wild Workouts[7]
  • Andy's Baby Animals[8]
  • Andy's Safari Adventures
  • Andy's Prehistoric Adventures

  • Andy's Dinosaur Toybox


Day has taken part in the CBeebies Live Arena Tour every year since 2012, and played in the Edinburgh Festival in 2009.[9] He was nominated as Best Presenter at the 2009 BAFTA Children's Awards.[10]

Other Work

In addition to Day's work on television with the children's channel CBeebies, Day also hosted a school radio broadcast for reception age children, entitled "Playtime". He hosted this show until 2017, when the broadcaster Steven Kynman took over.
