Darren Watson (born 10 August 2003) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays for Scottish Premiership club Dundee United FC as a forward.[1]

Early life

Watson was born in Scotland on 10 August 2003.[2]

Club career

Watson signed for the Scottish Premiership club Dundee United on 2020 at the age of 17.[3] He would represent the club in the 2020-21 Scottish Premiership season.[4] Watson made his debut for the club against Rangers on 13 February 2020. Watson started the game from the bench as he went on to pitch as a substitute for Adrián Sporle in the 86th minute of the game.[5] The match ended 1–2 with Rangers defeating Dundee United.[6]

International career

Watson has represented Scotland at under-16. He played his first match against Australia U16 on 24 January 2019. He started as a substitute after the half time for Aaron Lyall. The match ended 3–2 in favor of Scotland.[7] Watson represented Scotland U16 only in A one occasion.[8]
