The Name SSR is the abbreviation of 'Svargiya Sanjhibhai Rupjhibai'. Sanjhibhai Rupjhibhai Delkar was the former MP of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and father of Mohanbhai Delkar, the founder SSR Memorial trust, under which this college runs.
