Midseason tournaments

The following listing does not include qualifying matches and is accurate as of the end of the 2020 regular season. The listing ranks the OWL teams based on their winning percentage during midseason tournament matches. The 2018 and 2019 seasons contained four and three stage playoffs (midseason tournaments), respectively, throughout the regular season. The 2020 season replaced the stage playoffs with three new midseason tournaments for each of the two geographical regions throughout the regular season.

Every team has qualified for at least one midseason tournament. The New York Excelsior have qualified for all ten midseason tournaments held in OWL history and are the only team to qualify for every midseason tournament since they have been in the league. The San Francisco Shock have played the most matches (17), won the most matches (14), logged the most maps wins (56), highest map differential (+35) and have the highest winning percentage (.824). The Excelsior have logged the most match losses (8) and most map losses (33). Every team has won at least one match in midseason tournaments. The Houston Outlaws registered the lowest map differential (−11) and hold the distinction of having lost the most matches (5) among the teams with the lowest amount of wins (1). Seven teams have registered a map tie midseason tournament history.
