Metal Acoustic Music is an album by the Japanese noise musician Merzbow.[1] The name was inspired by Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music album. It was the earliest recorded Merzbow material available until OM Electrique (recorded December 27, 1979) was included in the Merzbox in 2000.[2]
It was first released on cassette in 1981 and reissued in 1989 as a remixed version "processed through the feedback system with digital effects". Side A of the original tape was included in the Merzbox and side B in Lowest Music & Arts 1980–1983.
