Pontinus tentacularis is a species of fish in the family Scorpaenidae.

Habitat

Iti s a marine demersal tropical climate fish which lives between 170 and 600 m underseas.

Geographical distribution

It is found from the Reunion and Mauritius to the Philippines.

Observations

It is harmless for humans.[2]
