Shababnikim (Hebrew: שבאבניקים, The New Black) is an Israeli comedy television series aired in 2017. The show includes twelve 30 minute episodes on lives of four ultra-Orthodox Jewish men.[1]

In Hebrew, a "shababnik" is a term for a young ultra-Orthodox person who leaves his or her faith in some regards but not in others. Shababnikim don't leave the religious community, but bend the boundaries of what is acceptable behavior in Jewish law.[2]
