Dwayne Abernathy, Jr. (born July 17, 1976), better known by his stage name Dem Jointz, is an American musician and record producer. He has produced tracks for numerous artists including Brandy, Jordin Sparks,[1] Rihanna,[2] and Christina Aguilera.[3] He also co-produced four tracks on Compton, the third and latest studio album by Dr. Dre,[4] as well as several tracks on Janet Jackson's 2015 No. 1 album Unbreakable, and has worked extensively on the upcoming album Donda by Kanye West. Abernathy has also worked on multiple projects with Howard County, Maryland-based rapper, K.A.A.N.

In regard to his producer tag, one may easily recognize Dem Jointz is the producer of the song by the "Incoming" at the onset of said song. This is exemplified in "Nah Nah Nah" by Kanye West.[5] from 0:00-0:03.
