Pedro António Pereira Gonçalves (born 28 June 1998), also known as Pote, is a Portuguese footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Sporting CP.
Career
Gonçalves joined English club Wolverhampton Wanderers in July 2017, initially on a one-year-deal.[1] He made his professional club debut on 28 August 2018 in a 2–0 EFL Cup second round victory at Sheffield Wednesday, coming on in the 62nd minute for Elliot Watt.[2]
On 2 July 2019, Gonçalves returned home by joining newly promoted Primeira Liga club F.C. Famalicão on a five-year deal, alongside Wolves teammate João Caiado.[3]
On 18 August 2020, Gonçalves joined Sporting CP on a five-year deal.[4] With two goals in a 4–0 win over C.D. Tondela on 1 November he reached five goals in his first six league games, second-best in the league.[5]
