Manvir Singh (born 6 November 1995) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a forward for ATK Mohun Bagan and the Indian national team.
Career
Youth
A youth product of Minerva Punjab, Singh signed with Mohammedan of the Calcutta Football League in July 2016.[2] On 26 March 2017, Singh scored the winning goal in the 2017 Santosh Trophy Final for West Bengal against Goa.[3]
Indian Super League
FC Goa
On 28 July 2017, Singh signed for Goa in the Indian Super League from Mohammedan.[4] He went on to make 47 appearances for the Gaurs in the Indian Super League with 40 of them coming in the form of a substitute. He scored 3 goals during his time in Goa. [5]
ATK Mohun Bagan
On 25 August 2020, ATK Mohun Bagan announced that Manvir Singh had signed a 3-year contract[6] after negotiating a transfer fee with FC Goa which was declared by the Gaurs as their biggest transfer received by the club [7] for a player till date. On 27 November 2020, he scored his first goal for the club against fierce rivals East Bengal.
International
On 19 August 2017, Singh made his international debut for India against Mauritius. He came on as an 87th-minute substitute for Jeje Lalpekhlua as India won 2–1.[8] He scored his first international goal against Maldives in 2018 SAFF Championship and next two goals came in the same championship in the Semifinal against Arch-rival Pakistan.
