Republic is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language political thriller film written and directed by Deva Katta, produced by JB Entertainments.[2] The film has an ensemble cast of Sai Dharam Tej, Aishwarya Rajesh, Jagapathi Babu and Ramya Krishna.[3] Ramya Krishna is playing the main antagonist in the film. The film is scheduled to be released on 4 June 2021.[4][5]

Cast

Production

The film was launched in early 2020 and filming was began in mid-2020. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the filming was paused and later resumed in December 2020.[7] Nivetha Pethuraj was earlier casted for the film, who was later replaced by Aishwarya Rajesh.[8][9] On 25 January 2021, the film's title was announced.[10][11]

Release

The release date of the film was announced on 1 February 2021 as 4 June 2021.[12]
