Lou Mongello is a former attorney who left the practice of law to pursue his passion for Disney. He began as one of the earliest podcasters back in 2005, and is the founder and host of WDW Radio (WDWRadio.com), named Best Travel Podcast by the Podcast Awards for nine consecutive years.[1] Founded in 2004, WDW Radio also includes live video, blog, community, products, tours, and events dedicated to celebrating the magic of Walt Disney World, the Disney Parks, Disney Cruise Line, Marvel, and Star Wars.

He is also the author of numerous books about Disney, and a series of virtual Audio Tours of the parks, all created in an effort to help enhance guests' enjoyment and appreciation of the theme parks, shows, and films, and the people who make the magic happen.

Lou is also the founder of the Dream Team Project (DreamTeamProject.org), which sends children with life-threatening illnesses to Walt Disney World, and has raised more than $550,000.00 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America.

Biography

Mongello holds a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Villanova University and a Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University. He practiced law for nine years before forming his own computer consulting and web design company, Imagine Enterprises. He was the Chief Technology Officer and Director of Operations for a medical imaging company in Edison, New Jersey, before moving to Florida to pursue his interest in Disney.

Mongello is the author of the Walt Disney World Trivia Book series, 102 Ways to Save Money For and At Walt Disney World, The Disney Interviews: Volume 1, and Audio Tours of Walt Disney World, which he also narrates.[2][3][4][5][promotional source?]

Mongello also manages a charitable group named the Dream Team Project, which raises money to pay for children with serious illnesses to visit Walt Disney World. To date,[when?] project had raised more than $550,000.00 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America.
