MLW Azteca is an annual professional wrestling supercard event produced by Major League Wrestling (MLW). The first event was held as a television taping for MLW's mini series of the same name in December 2021. Several months later, the second event was held, this time as a television taping for the television program MLW Fusion in April 2022.

The concept of the event is based on story elements from the defunct Lucha Libre promotion and former television drama, Lucha Underground.

History

In October 2020, MLW would began incorporating story elements from the defunct Lucha Libre promotion and former television drama, Lucha Underground. Talent formerly associated with Lucha Underground were brought into MLW as part of the "Azteca Underground" stable.[1][2]
