Ekta Khosla is a former Indian model and actress who worked in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil-language films.

Career

She worked as a model in Mumbai.[1] In 2004, at the Pond's Femina Miss India contest, she won Sony My Miss India title.[2] She made her Kannada debut with Thunta (2005). A critic wrote that she "does not impress but looks good in the song sequences".[3] In 2006, she won Miss Beautiful Hair at Feminia Miss India.[4] In 2007, she made her Telugu debut with Poramboku.[5] The film had a song shot on Phuket Island and another song shot in Mauritius.[6] Regarding her performance, a critic wrote that "another major minus is the heroine. She had neither a good physique, nor glamour".[7][8] Regarding her performance in her second Kannada film Gaja (2008), a critic wrote that "Ekta Khosla does her role with perfection".[9] She made her Tamil debut with Mundhinam Paartheney (2010) in which she played salsa trainer.[10][11] Her co-star Sanjay help her learn Tamil for the film.[12] A critic wrote that "Out of the three ladies, Ektha has more footage and delivers well".[13][14]
