Majdan (Polish pronunciation: [ˈmajdan]) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Szypliszki, within Suwałki County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Lithuania.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north of Szypliszki, 26 km (16 mi) north of Suwałki, and 132 km (82 mi) north of the regional capital Białystok.
