Stare Koźle [ˈstarɛ ˈkɔʑlɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Bierawa, within Kędzierzyn-Koźle County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north-west of Bierawa, 5 km (3 mi) south of Kędzierzyn-Koźle, and 45 km (28 mi) south-east of the regional capital Opole.

In the Silesian plebiscite of 20 March 1921 414 inhabitants voted to remain in Weimar Germany, 236 to join Poland.[2]
