Kafui Danku is a Ghanaian actress and movie producer, mostly known for her role in movies such as Any Other Monday, Alvina: Thunder and Lightning, I Do, and 4Play.[1][2][3][4] She is also the author of the book Silence Is Not Golden [5] She was born on 16 August 1982.[6] She grew up in Ho, and her hometown is Tanyigbe-etoe, a town found in Ho, the Volta Region of Ghana. Kafui has two siblings.[7] Her parents are Madam Agnes Asigbey (a retired Nurse) and the late John Danku.

Kafui is also an advocate and a Vlogger. She is the former beauty queen. She participated in Miss Ghana 2004, where she became a finalist, and in Miss Greater Accra 2004, she won the pageant. She is the co-owner of ABC Limited (ABC Pictures GH), a film production company in Ghana.[7]

Kafui began her professional acting career at the United Nations before she entered the Ghana Movie Industry in 2009.[7] Her first movie in the Ghana movie industry is Agony of Christ, with casts like Majid Michel and Nadia Buari.

Education

She had her basic and secondary education in the Volta Region of Ghana.[6] Danku attended Ola Girls School in the Volta Region of Ghana, and continued her education at the University of Cape Coast in the Central Region of Ghana[3] where studied a Bachelor of Arts in English.[6]

Career

Kafui is an actress and an author.[8]

Personal life

She is married to a Canadian man [9][10] by name Kojo Pitcher.[8] The two couple tied a knot in 2011. They have two children; Lorde Ivan Pitcher and Titan Pitcher.[11][8]
