Audrey Dana (born 21 September 1977)[citation needed] is a French actress and film director.

Life and career

Dana studied drama in Orléans and Paris. After two years in New York City, she went back to France where she acted in various plays, including Nos amis, les humains by Bernard Werber. She was also cast in the movie adaptations Nos amis les Terriens, and Roman de Gare by Claude Lelouch. In 2008, she was nominated for the César Award for Most Promising Actress and was awarded the Prix Romy Schneider. Dana and her ex-husband, French film director Mabrouk El Mechri, have a son Lee who was born in 2008.[2]

Her directorial debut French Women was released on 4 June 2014.[3]
