Nobi Newaz is a Bangladesh Awami League politician and the incumbent Former Member of Parliament from Jhenaidah-3.

Birth and education

Nobi Newaz was born on 9 February 1966. Nobi Newaz's ancestral house is in Godown Road Hamidpur area of Maheshpur Upazila of Jhenaidah District. In his educational career, he completed his secondary education from Shahadat Pilot Secondary School, Chougacha, Jessore, higher secondary education from Mosharraf Hossain College, Kotchandpur, and Honors and Masters in Economics from Dhaka University.[1]

Career

Newaz was elected to Parliament on 5 January 2014 from Jhenaidah-3 as a Bangladesh Awami League candidate.[2] He is a Member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Environment and Forests Ministry.[3]
