Curveball is a 2020 German political satire film drama directed by Johannes Naber. It is based on true events leading up to the Iraq War of 2003.[1] The film premiered in the Berlinale Special section at the 70th Berlin International Film Festival.[2][3]

The film won the Bronze Lola in the category “Best Feature Film” at the 2021 German Film Awards (producers: Amir Hamz, Christian Springer, Fahri Yardim) and the Award for “Best Supporting Actor” (Thorsten Merten) as well as a nomination for “Best Screenplay” (Oliver Keidel, Johannes Naber).[4]
