Pavochon is a popular Puerto Rican food.[1] It is popular during Thanksgiving season. Pavochon is turkey seasoned like a roasted pig and stuffed with mofongo.[2]

The word Pavochon is a portmanteau of Pavo, which means turkey, and chon, the last four letters on the word lechon, which means pig.[3]
