Kosky Peak (70°57′S 63°28′W / 70.950°S 63.467°W / -70.950; -63.467) is a peak 1.5 nautical miles (3 km) south of Mount Nordhill in the Welch Mountains of Palmer Land, Antarctica. The peak was mapped by the United States Geological Survey in 1974, and was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for Captain Harry G. Kosky, Commanding Officer of USCGC Westwind (WAGB-281) in the Antarctic Peninsula Ship Group during Operation Deep Freeze, 1971.[1]
