Mount Granholm (71°34′S 167°18′E / 71.567°S 167.300°E / -71.567; 167.300) is a mountain 2,440 metres (8,000 ft) high, 9 nautical miles (17 km) southeast of Mount Pittard in the northwest part of the Admiralty Mountains of Victoria Land, Antarctica. This topographical feature was first mapped by the United States Geological Survey from surveys and U.S. Navy aerial photographs, 1960–63, and was so named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for Nels H. Granholm, a United States Antarctic Research Program biologist at Hallett Station, during 1967–68.[1] The mountain lies situated on the Pennell Coast, a portion of Antarctica lying between Cape Williams and Cape Adare.
