Village Music was a record store in Mill Valley, California. It was nationally recognized for its extensive collection of old, rare and specialty records. It closed in 2007.[1] A documentary film by Gillian and Monroe Grisman (daughter and son of San Francisco Bay Area musician David Grisman) on the store and its owner, John Goddard, Village Music: Last of the Great Record Stores, debuted at the Mill Valley Film Festival in October 2012.[2]
