Kownaty [kɔvˈnatɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Płońsk, within Płońsk County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) east of Płońsk and 61 km (38 mi) north-west of Warsaw.

The village has a population of 100.
