Alan Wright (cricket administrator)

Alan J Wright (1938–2013) was an English cricket administrator.

Alan Wright gained wide administrative and commercial experience in a successful career with British Airways prior to his appointment as Secretary of Middlesex on 1 February 1982.

He oversaw a successful period which saw the securing of the County Championship in Mike Brearley's final season as captain and also the Benson and Hedges Cup in 1983 before returning to the travel industry.
