Pinggot Zulueta (born June 19, 1961) is a Filipino visual artist and photojournalist. In 1982, he attained his Fine Arts degree Major in Painting from the University of Santo Tomas. He further studied at the UP College of Fine Arts as well as Advanced Course on News Photography and Pictorial Layout conducted by the International Institute of Journalism, Berlin held in Manila in 1996. While at UST, he served as Staff Artist of the university's official student publication, The Varsitarian. Later, he worked as a Political Cartoonist at Midweek magazine and later at Abante. Since 1983, he had joined fellow artists in group exhibitions in art galleries in Manila, New Zealand and Australia.[1][2] Mr. Zulueta is currently a Lifestyle Photographer in the Philippines’ leading national newspaper; Manila Bulletin.

Pinggot Zulueta's Art style is Social Commentary and Abstraction. His latest solo exhibition was in November 2013 called "Makatulog Ka Pa Kaya"[3] (in collaboration with National Artist for Literature, Virgilio Almario) at the Crucible Gallery, SM Megamall. He also participated in a group exhibition held in the Asian Arts Gallery in Maryland, USA called "ART FILIPINO: Works by Filipino Artists"[4] last 2013.

Books

Zulueta was one of the Filipino photojournalists in the book, EDSA 2: A Nation in Revolt published by Anvil Publishing. He also collaborated in a children's book, " Mga Alagad ng Mahiwagang Sirkulo " published by the UNESCO, in cooperation with Adarna Books.[7]
