Vasavi Colony is a prime residential region located near the Dilsukhnagar locality of Hyderabad. It is situated in the eastern part of the city and beside the National Highway 9 (India) en route Dilsukhnagar to L. B. Nagar. Ashtalakshmi Temple, Hyderabad is located in this colony.

Established in the early 1980s as a colony, it grew to the rich residential locality it is today. The locality's fortune changed with the construction of Ashtalakshmi Temple, Hyderabad in the 1990s.
