Janiszewo [janiˈʂɛvɔ] (‹See Tfd›German: Johannisthal)[1] is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Sorkwity, within Mrągowo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[2] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-west of Sorkwity, 13 km (8 mi) west of Mrągowo, and 42 km (26 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.

Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).

The settlement has a population of 154.
