Wiśniowo Ełckie [viɕˈɲɔvɔ ˈɛu̯t͡skʲɛ] (German: Wischniewen)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Prostki, within Ełk County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[2] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north-east of Prostki, 14 km (9 mi) south-east of Ełk, and 134 km (83 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
The village has a population of 890.
