Kopanina[2][3] [kɔpaˈnina] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Staszów, within Staszów County, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, in south-central Poland. It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north of Staszów and 51 km (32 mi) south-east of the regional capital Kielce.[4]

The village has a population of 116.

Demography

According to the 2002 Poland census, there were 116 people residing in Kopanina village, of whom 50.9% were male and 49.1% were female. In the village, the population was spread out with 32.8% under the age of 18, 34.5% from 18 to 44, 13.8% from 45 to 64, and 19% who were 65 years of age or older.[1]
