Upper Washabuck is a community in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia, located in Victoria County. Upper Washabuck is a part of the Washabuck Peninsula. It was settled mainly by Catholic settlers from the Highlands and Islands of Scotland in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. It has very strong Scottish roots and is very rural. Washabuck is most well known for its contributions to Celtic music, including many fiddlers, pipers, dancers and composers.
