Synonyms

Cidaris elegans is a fossil species of pencil sea urchins in the family Cidaridae. It is known from the Oxfordian stage (Jurassic) of France.[2]

Note that Cidaris elegans (A. Agassiz, 1879) is a synonym for Histocidaris elegans.
