Czaple [ˈt͡ʂaplɛ] (German: Neu Tschöpeln, 1936-45: Birkenstedt in der Oberlausitz)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Trzebiel, within Żary County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland, close to the German border.[2]
