Janowice [janɔˈvit͡sɛ] (German: Klein Jänowitz)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Lubsko, within Żary County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland.[2] It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) north-east of Lubsko, 23 km (14 mi) north of Żary, and 35 km (22 mi) west of Zielona Góra.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
The village has a population of 18.
