A Fuchsia Elephant is a 2009 American short comedy film screenplay and directed by Dianna Agron, starring Dianna Agron and Dave Franco.[1] The film was never released.

Plot

On the day before her eighteenth birthday, Charlotte Hill (Dianna Agron) makes a decision to change. Not wanting to follow in the footsteps of her alcoholic mother, she enlists a sober partner named Michael (Dave Franco) to help guide her. He challenges her to think of something fun to do to celebrate, and with the help of some friends, she recreates the eighth birthday party she never had. The party is an imaginative romp filled with pirates, gypsies and a fuchsia elephant...the best she's ever had.

Production

Because of filming the first season of Glee, Dianna Agron was not available to direct her own short film, so she did it during the series hiatus in the summer of 2009. The film star Agron herself and Dave Franco, both were in a relationship during the filming so Franco served as an executive producer.[2]
