Compsoctena araeopis is a moth in the Eriocottidae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1926.[1] It is found in Namibia.[2]

The wingspan is 24–26 mm. The forewings are grey closely irrorated with blackish and irregularly and suffusedly strigulated with white. The hindwings are grey, darker-speckled.[3]
