Ludwig Benjamin

Ludwig Benjamin (1825–48) was a German botanist who contributed to Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius' Flora Brasiliensis. The genus Benjaminia is named in his honor.

The standard author abbreviation Benj. is used to indicate this person as the author when citing a botanical name.[1]
