HMS Terror was a 14-gun bomb vessel launched in 1741 and sold in 1754.

Terror was commissioned in 1742 under the command of Commander Abraham Duncomb. Terror was involved in the naval battle in Loch nan Uamh during the Jacobite rising, where she was disabled by a volley from the French privateer Bellone. She was sold in 1754 at Deptford.
