Ancilla ampla is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Olividae, the olives.[1]

There exist two subspecies:

  • Ancilla ampla ampla (Gmelin, 1791)
  • Ancilla ampla cylindrica (G.B. Sowerby II, 1859)
