Pyszczyn [ˈpɨʂt͡ʂɨn] (German: Pitschen) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Żarów, within Świdnica County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) north-east of Żarów, 18 km (11 mi) north-east of Świdnica, and 38 km (24 mi) south-west of the regional capital Wrocław.

Prior to 1945, it was in Germany.[citation needed]
