Snake in the Radio is the first release by Mark Pickerel's group known as Mark Pickerel and His Praying Hands.

Album information

The album, which was recorded between September 2004 and November 2005, involved collaborations with several artists including Johnny Sangster of Dear John Letters' on guitar, Steve Fisk on keyboards and The Young Fresh Fellows' Jim Sangster as bass guitarist.

The recording, with artwork by Neko Case of The New Pornographers, was released in May 2006 by Bloodshot Records
