Czimislav (Latin: Cimusclus[1]) was a 9th-century King of the Lusatian Serbs (Sorbs).[2] The Saxons won a battle at Kesigesburg and Czimislav was killed in 840.[2] He was part of the Colodici, a Sorbian sub-tribe.[citation needed]. He was of the Colodici (Polish=Kołodziej) family, the ancestors of the Piast dynasty.
