Borowski Las (Polish pronunciation: [bɔˈrɔfskʲi ˈlas]; German: Borowerwald)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Sorkwity, within Mrągowo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[2] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south-east of Sorkwity, 11 km (7 mi) south-west of Mrągowo, and 45 km (28 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
The village has a population of 60.
