Sokmanabad Rural District (Persian: دهستان سكمن آباد) is a rural district (dehestan) in Safayyeh District, Khoy County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran.[1] At the 2006 census (including Zurabad, which was subsequently detached from the rural district and promoted to city status), its population was 13,012, in 2,525 families; excluding Zurabad, its population (as of 2006) was 12,095, in 2,328 families.[2] The rural district has 41 villages.
